Movie Screening - The Keeper
A short film by local filmmaker Patrick Krum, premiering at the Aurora Theater June 29th at 7pm.
Please join us in celebrating the premier of this short film that features a story about beekeepers and honeybees. As dedicated beekeepers ourselves, we tend to love things that feature honeybees, but this one is particularly special. We were proud to have been able to contribute some of the beekeeping equipment used in the filming and even more excited to be able to work with the filmmaker to gather footage of swarming bees.
Doors open at 6:30.

Honey Harvest Festival
Mark your calendars for the ninth annual Honey Harvest Festival! You’ll see how honey is harvested, from the bee box to the jar and have lots of opportunities for tasting. Take a free beekeeping class, and save time to visit our Vendor Market for a variety of handmade items.

Bee Movie at the Aurora Theater
Join us, and a few thousand of our bee friends at the beautiful Aurora Theater! for a FREE showing of the Bee Movie! We’ll be there before the film to chat about bees and offer local honey for sale.
We’ll set up at 10, and the film will begin at 11AM.

Thank you for being part of our beekeeping community!
We are hosting our first Beekeeper Appreciation Night as a way to say “thanks” for supporting us as a local business. We also think beekeepers are just neat people to hang out with, so we hope you’ll join us and other local beekeepers for some drinks, snacks, and networking!
We’ll be offering discounts on all beekeeping supplies during the event, so it will be a good time to get supplies for your winter projects. We also have lots of unique gift ideas for everyone on your holiday shopping lists, so you can get some of your shopping done, too!

Jack o' Lantern & Pumpkin Recycling
Don’t trash your pumpkins! Let EcoVerde Organics turn them into rich, organic Full Circle compost!
Remove all candles and decorations, and drop your pumpkins off in the marked trailer in our parking lot November 1st - 3rd.
Your pumpkins will be turned into compost that will be available here at Masterson’s in the spring!
