Kids' Club - Seed Starting
Bring the little gardeners out to Masterson's to get their hands dirty! We think it's not only fun to play in the dirt, but also incredibly important to teach our little ones about the importance of growing plants. We believe kids should learn how to grow plants that provide fresh, healthy food for themselves as well as plants that provide food and shelter for wildlife. And, well...seeds are just pretty magical.
We'll be looking at many different types of seeds, talking about where seeds come from, how they are harvested, and how to help them turn into plants.
Everyone will have a chance to start several different varieties of seeds to take home with them and plant in their own gardens. We'll also be starting some seeds that will be planted into our new Kids' Garden space at the garden center.
The event is free to all children, ages 2 to 12.
