DIY Upcycled Planters @ Lilly Belle Meads

  • Lilly Belle Meads 11 West Main Street Lancaster, NY, 14086 United States (map)

Join Erin from Masterson's Garden Center (and Gypsy Meadows) for a "planty" Sunday Funday at Lilly Belle Meads in Lancaster! You'll get to create your own take home planter and the knowledge to keep it looking great.

What makes this class unique? Well, the plant choices have a purpose and we actively try to upcycle containers!

As a beekeeper, Erin keeps our pollinator friends in mind when selecting flowers. Honeybees, our native bees, and all of the other pollinators need our support, and the easiset way to do that is to plant more flowers! We'll focus on why particular flowers are good for bees and chat a bit about how to help them in the rest of your garden.

Now for the containers...Sure you can use one of the regular pots that we'll have on hand, but take a look around your house before you come and see if there's a unique vessel you can upcycle into a great patio planter! We're aiming at something about 10" - 14" across, and at least 6" deep...the possibilities are endless! Last year's planters? An old crate? A purse you don't use anymore? We'll make it work!

Class fee is $45 and includes all of the supplies you'll need to create and leave with your unique planter.

Seating is limited, so please register to save your seat!
