Almost every beekeeper we've talked to this spring lost colonies over the winter, including us. Sometimes we can learn more from failures than from successes, so we'll take this opportunity to learn what we can from a dead colony in our own apiary.

By examining this colony, comparing notes from last year, and talking about what we've learned in the process, we hope to take this new knowledge with us into the coming beekeeping season. Join us. Bring lots of questions.
