Need to spruce up your yard or patio for a party this weekend?
With the short growing season and the fact that summer bbq season is here, we think this is a great time to tell you about one of our favorite “tricks of the trade.”
Here are three easy steps to instant summer color:
- Choose (buy or re-use) a big, colorful planter.
- Plunk a hanging basket in the planter. (remove the basket)
- Fill in with potting soil.
That’s it. No waiting for plants to fill in. No worries about whether they look good together or not.
You can also plant directly into the ground for instant color in your garden!
